Background
The 1st International Conference on Global Issue for infrastructure, environment & socio-economic development is the largest of its kind in Eastern Indonesia with a purpose for sharing knowledge, experience, technology and discussing strategic and operational level for global issue in human life, especially related to infrastructure, environment & socio-economic development.
This year, the conference will bring a theme: “Natural disaster management on risk reduction toward sustainable development for civic society”.
Natural disasters are generally classified as having hydrological, meteorological, climatic, geophysical or biological causes/origins. During these two decades, there is a significant increase in natural disasters, which has serious impact on the population, environment and economy of the world. This impact has been extended because of the development of Transport networks, industrial plans and infrastructures. Comprehensive approach should be taken into consideration to mitigate the natural disaster impact in civic society.
Publication
All accepted and presented papers in GIESED-2018 will be published in the proceeding of GIESED-2018 through Publisher which indexed by Scopus. Selected papers of GIESED-2018 will be invited to submit the extended paper for LTI Journal which indexed by Scopus (Q3). Some papers will be invited to submit the extended papers for the various journal as below:
